Who we are
NCPI National Chemicals Manufacturing L.L.C. is licensed in Abu Dhabi for oilfield chemicals manufacturing and the treatment of water for industrial purposes (Industrial License IN-2005503). It is part of the NCPI group, led by NCPI Chemicals Petroleum Industries Co. W.L.L., which uses science and technology for servicing national essentials and vital sectors in the United Arab Emirates, the State of Kuwait, and the Middle East.

NCPI is a national company located in Abu Dhabi, with its refinery and production unit at the main industrial area near Shuaibah Refinery, south of Kuwait City. The production unit has a capacity of up to 27,000 MT per year. As an ISO-certified company, we provide innovative chemical products and services to our customers.
Considerable investment is made to develop eco-friendly products and to train our team on environmental protection and safety measures. This balances our commitment to economic, environmental, and social responsibility, keeping in mind that HSE is part of our working culture, within the facility and in our offices, every single day. NCPI works towards optimum utilization of its resources to achieve maximum output and operational excellence, without compromising on safety.
NCPI is not a trading company. We develop, manufacture, supply, and service our own products, everything under one roof. Since 2005, production has grown roughly 38-fold, from 220 MT to over 8,400 MT annually, growth backed by field deployment across Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Serving customers is our aspiration, and interpreting market needs while adapting to ever-changing client requirements with tailor-made products helps NCPI face today's challenges.
Thorough R&D, strengthened by technology transfer agreements with our renowned international principals, excellent teamwork, and involvement throughout the organization, coupled with practical experience from the corporate world of the oil, gas, and water sector, has helped us develop unique solutions that have fortified our growth. Taking NCPI beyond local boundaries, we have extended our presence into the Middle East, and we foresee NCPI going global in the years ahead.
To be at par with eco management, we have successfully launched a new range of biodegradable chemicals, applying international safety rules and environmental regulations, maintaining the highest levels of safety not only within our facility but beyond it, for the environment, our customers, and the community, from the stage of designing our products through to consumption and disposal.

NCPI holds six current certifications: ISO 9001 (Quality Management, since 2016), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management, since 2016), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety, since 2019, zero major incidents across 30 years of operation), ISO 17025 (accredited laboratory competence, since 2022), KIWA-ATA (International Water Certification, among the few Middle Eastern chemical manufacturers to hold it), and NSF (Water Treatment Certification).
